🚀 The Third Edition of the #FinalYearBoost Competition is Here!

After an extended hiatus, I am thrilled to announce the return of this exciting competition for Nigerian final-year students.🎉

This competition is designed to support students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria who need assistance completing their final-year projects. Participants will have the chance to present their project abstract, proposal, or summary through this platform, where submissions will be reviewed and voted on for sponsorship.

How It Works

1️⃣ Eligible students submit their project abstracts for initial review.
2️⃣ I’ll shortlist the top 5–7 entries (based on relevance, creativity, and novelty) and post them on this website for voting.
3️⃣ The top two entries with the highest votes will receive sponsorship, including financial support and additional resources to bring their projects to life.

💡 Note: This is a self-funded initiative, and I can only guarantee support for the first and second-placed projects at this time. However, if additional funding becomes available (with support from any person or group interested in contributing to this endeavor), we would extend sponsorship to the third-place entry or even more participants.

Competition Rules

✅ Open to students from any tertiary institution in Nigeria who have started or are about to start their final-year project.

📩 To participate, send the following to hexystateofmind[at]gmail[dot]com:

  • A one-page abstract, proposal, or summary of your project (PDF or DOC format)
  • A detailed project budget (PDF or DOC format)

🗓 Key Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: 11:59 PM (Nigerian Time) on February 28, 2025
  • Voting Period: March 8–15, 2025
  • Winners Announced: Immediately after voting closes

(Dates may be adjusted based on submission volume but will not exceed the above timeline.)

Due to no submissions made at this time (March 16, 2025), I will remove above submission deadlines and keep open for a while.
